1. Ah Cheng Laksa
Located at the highest floor of Aeon Mall
Ah Cheng laksa, which start their business since 1960 serves one of the best curry laksa in town.
I truly falls in love with their foods, especially their curry laksa the first time I ate it.It tasted like the curry laksa serves in Melaka’s Jonker 88.

Sources from Ah Cheng Laksa
Texture: That type of curry that people will drink it all without feeling any feel of discomfort, disgust, and greasy.
Taste: Strong flavor with nice curry aroma.
Spiciness: Moderate (for those who are intermediate spicy eaters )
For those who like to increase the curry laksa’s spiciness, their sambal sauce, which is one of their self service sauces are highly recommended.
Thier sambal is so special that I could order a plate of plain nasi lemak and finishes them all just by eating along with their sambal sauces.
The “dao fu pok”, bean curd puffs of their curry is are deeply marinated in their curry soup, so as their curry chicken.
There are also fresh clams, aka siham inside their curry laksa. For those who doesnt like siham, do request them not to put siham inside your curry laksa.
Long beans and bean sprouts are also served along with their curry laksa.
Portion: As a person who have big appetite, the portion just enough to fill 80% of my stomach. (After drinking all the curry soup.)
Price: $-$$
Overall ratings 8/10

Me with my favorite curry laksa😍
2. DubuYo
Located too at the highest floor of Aeon Nilai Mall.
Tired of tasting Malaysian food? Try DubuYo, which is a restaurant specialised in serving Korean Dishes.
One of the reason I like DubuYo so much is because the kimchi they serve are also delicious that I keep on and keep on calling them refilling them.
Their foods are quite delicious. One of the most recommended dishes there is their honey garlic bulgolgi.
Unfortunately, the soup and the dessert they serve are just egg soup and a small pudding with marmalade. For me those foods are quite common:)
Price: $$-$$$
Overall 7/10

3. 士林台湾小吃 Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks
Non-Halal Foods Alert!!!
Shihlin has always been one of my favourite since I am a dumb kid.
Taiwanese foods and snacks are served here.
Snacks and foods recommenation:
蚵仔面线 Handmade Oyster Mee Shua
This dishes is mee shua (a type of chinese noodles) in nice, thick and delicious soup cooked with pork and chicken bone, and also a very small amount of anchovies.
The Mee Shua also comes along with Oysters (of course) and chicken floss.
The most traditional way Taiwanese eat this dish is eat it with adding 陈醋 (mature vinegar),香菜 (coriander) and their special chilli sauce.
It cost about Rm8.50 and the portion is just 5/10 for my big appetite. For girls, this definitely would be enough for you but for boys, especially those who can consume a lot, this is just a snack for us.
XXL Crispy Chicken
ALERT!!!Do not imagine yourself eating this big piece of fried chicken during late night because you are putting yourself at a big risk of starving to dealth!! (JK)
The XXL chicken is nicely marinated and covered by breadcrumbs before they goes into the deep fried process.
The crispy chicken is in golden color after they are nicely cooked and the workers will sprinkle flavorings (spicy or non spicy ) according to your request.
Shihlin doesn’t allow their workers to cut the big fried chicken into small pieces (even though at your request) because they afraid that their workers will steal one of those small pieces (Hahahahaha. Funny but truth)
Erm… maybe now they allow their workers to cut it into small pieces (policy changes probably) because I saw most of them are cut in small pieces.
